Katherine Heigl has a unhealthy habit for a doctor

Katherine Heigl has shot to fame since she was casted for her role as an intern surgeon in the sky high series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. The road hasn’t always been smooth for the model turned actress. Before Katherine was chosen for ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ she recalls she use to watch a lot of television as she was unemployed and depressed.

She says: “I use to watch a lot of TV when I was unemployed and looking for work. I use to hate pilot season, you audition for about three pilots a day and then at the end get nothing…..it was depressing.”

Now Katherine Heigl has no time for TV or auditions as she can’t even find time to get married. She starts filming the next season of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ in July and after that she starts filming her next movie.

But Katherine is appreciative of all this fame and attention she is receiving.

“It’s weird. I’ve been doing this for so long and I always imagined what it might be like to have this success, but you can’t really know what it will be like. The most pivotal point was at the “upfronts” (where broadcasters present programs to advertisers) in New York last year. People would come up to me and tell me how much they loved the show, and New Yorkers just don’t do that! The excitement for the show was just unbelievable. I’ve been waiting 15 years for this kind of success and I’m just so grateful and really thrilled. It’s definitely overwhelming at times.”

Her movie “Knocked Up” premieres 1st of June and it has already received excellent reviews.

“Well there’s a lot of pressure I think. Because you’re just always afraid that if it’s built up so much, then what if it doesn’t do what everyone expects it to do.”

I’m sure it will be fine Katherine but not sure you’ll be fine if you continue smoking those cigarettes.
