Lily Allen on the booze again
Lily Allen reportedly had a bit too much to drink at the Notting Hill Carnival at the weekend and had to helped up off the ground by strangers after losing her friends.
According to the Mirror, Lily had been drinking cider with best friend, TV presenter Miquita Oliver but the two got separated in the crowd.
An onlooker told the newspaper: “She was really getting into the spirit of the occasion - probably a bit too much. She was drinking outside The Cow pub when she stumbled over and didn’t get up.”
“She looked a bit dazed and soon people were surrounding her and taking pictures of her and laughing.”
“A staff member at [the nearby] Rosa’s Dining Room saw her on the floor, picked her up and took her inside the restaurant to stop everyone gawking at her.”
The restaurant staff gave her coffee and water, then called a taxi to take the singer home: “Lil looked chuffed when the taxi finally showed up as she’d lost her friends and was all on her own.”
Earlier in the day, Lily had a pint of Guinness poured over her head on stage after mocking reggae artist Bobby Kray.
An audience member added: “The audience were lapping it up. Lily didn’t look too happy about the crowd ripping her so badly and made a speedy getaway from the side of the stage.”

Lindsay fails drug test in rehab
Last week we told you how Lindsay Lohan was forced to undergo drug tests after rumours that she was indulging in a little re-toxing in rehab, now we are hearing that the results of those tests came back positive.
As we reported last week, Lindsay was allegedly hauled before the director of Utah’s Cirque Lodge and forced to take a drug test.
During the test Lindsay screamed and cursed at the medical director before storming out of the room,” claims a source.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the results came back positive and that Lindsay has been threatened with the boot if she cant stay clean.
The positive result could have some serious consequences for the actress.
Last week she pleaded no contest to drink-driving and possessing cocaine and was sentenced to just one day in jail.
Part of her plea deal relies on her successfully completing a drug treatment programme.

Britney’s back with a new track
Britney Spears is back with a vengeance, but this time it’s legitimate news. The fallen pop-starlet has finally released a fresh single, her first new work in almost two years.
The new dance track, entitled “Gimme More”, leads off with the high-impact line ”It’s Britney, bitch”.
The track made its official debut on New York radio station Z100 today and there’s been a cautiously positive response from fans and media.
Comments on Britney’s MySpace site were overwhelmingly positive, with plenty of fans flocking to leave their thoughts.
”Britney I love the song so much, it’s so hot babe, always going for the next level, love it,” a user named Alfie said.
”Brit your new song rocks as I knew it would can’t wait for the album. God I miss your great music, nice to have you back, love the new sound,” another wrote.
Rudolph was reportedly midway through a visit to a Los Angeles tanning salon when he was served the documents.
The documents reveal that K-Fed is receiving nearly $25,000 a month in ‘’spousal support”, but that will end on November 15.

Remembering Diana after a decade
Princess Diana’s family gathered Friday to solemnly remember a life and a marriage which still agitates the royal family and the British public.
It was a day for broadcasting video snippets of one wedding and funeral; for rehashing the rights and wrongs of the failed marriage of Diana and Prince Charles. It was one more day for dredging up questions about how she came to die in a car crash in Paris with her boyfriend Dodi Fayed, and for the Daily Telegraph to publish an essay which explained “why we were right to weep for Diana.”
Diana’s sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, were credited with organizing the noontime service at the Guards’ Chapel near Buckingham Palace marking the 10th year anniversary of her death, but Charles was blamed by many for the row over an invitation to his current wife.
Camilla, who was blamed by Diana for breaking up her marriage, decided to stay home. That decision followed quickly after the Mail on Sunday published a commentary by Diana’s friend, Rosa Monckton, saying the princess would have been “astonished” that Camilla was invited.
“Actually, she would have been astonished to learn that her former husband had married his longtime mistress,” Monckton wrote.
A few people were waiting outside the Guards’ Chapel on Friday morning, in contrast to the masses who lined the route of Diana’s funeral procession to Westminster Abbey 10 years ago.
“She reached our lives deeply, even in America. She brought life to the palace and warmth, and that’s what the monarchy needed,” said Arlene Fitch, 54, of Boston, one of the early arrivals.
Fitch and her sister, Marie Schofield, 46, from Florida, said they planned their vacation to be in London at the time of the service.
“She (Diana) got married the same year as me, she had children the same year as me and, as her boys have grown up, they have done just the same kind of things as our boys would do,” Schofield said.
Diana’s most ardent admirers tied scores of bouquets, poems and pictures to the gates of Kensington Palace, Diana’s former home, but the display paled in comparison to the vast carpet of blossoms that accumulated in the days immediately after her death.
Queen Elizabeth II headed the list of guests, along with her husband Prince Philip. Prince Edward, Charles’ younger brother, was expected to attend, but Princess Anne — who was said to have had a frosty relationship with Diana — was not.
Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, who wrote two gossipy books about his years in her service, was not invited. Nor was Patrick Jephson, the princess’ former private secretary, who also wrote two books about her.
Sir Elton John was invited, but he would not reprise his reworking of “Candle in the Wind,” which he performed at the funeral.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown and former Prime Minister John Major, who was in office when the royal marriage broke up, also were invited, as were more than 110 representatives of charities and other organizations that Diana supported.
Mohamed al Fayed, who accuses Prince Philip of masterminding a plot to kill Diana and Dodi Fayed, also was not on the guest list. He planned his own two minutes of silence at Harrods, his department store.
A prayer written for the memorial service by Rowan Williams, the archbishop of Canterbury, gives thanks “for all the memories of her that we treasure still.”
“Her vulnerability and her willingness to reach out to the excluded and forgotten touched us all; her generosity gave hope and joy to many. May she rest in peace where sorrow and pain are banished,” Williams wrote.
The royal family had refrained from any public remembrance of the anniversary of the princess’ death.
This year, however, William and Harry took the lead in organizing the memorial service, as well as a rock concert on Diana’s birthday, July 1, which drew 70,000 fans.

James Hewitt, the man branded the late Princess Diana’s “love rat” by Britain’s tabloid newspapers, has failed to deny he is the real father of Prince Harry.
In an exclusive interview with A Current Affair’s Tracy Grimshaw, to be broadcast tomorrow night, Hewitt tells of his last conversation with Diana, his dislike of the Royal family and the delicate question of Harry’s paternity.
His handling of the latter question — he has stormed out of interviews or issued flat denials in the past — marks a dramatic shift, and arouses fresh speculation he is the true father of Britain’s youngest prince.
In the far-reaching interview, the army major also erupts angrily when he speaks about Prince Charles and the latter’s role as the future King of England.
And he lashes out at what he calls the “hypocrisy” of the royal family over Diana’s memorial, and paints himself as Diana’s “protector”.
“There was only one person at the time that could have provided that [protection] and it was me,” he said.
“There were millions there to protect the Queen, and you know England and all that it stands for … and so I chose to help someone who was unlikely to achieve that elsewhere”
Hewitt reveals details of the last words he spoke to Diana, and how the princess enjoyed shocking “the establishment” right up to the day of her death.
“Before she was killed … when I last spoke to her, she said ‘I am going to shock the world and go off with some big fat black man’.”
When asked if he was envious that Diana was able to conduct an open affair with Dodi Al-Fayed, the man who raised the ire of the British press, Hewitt appeared magnanimous.
“I was pleased for her — pleased that she had achieved what she had set out to achieve when she found herself in an unhappy situation with Charles,” he said.

Owen Wilson drops out of his new movie
Owen Wilson, hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt, has dropped out of the upcoming ensemble comedy “Tropic Thunder.”
The 38-year-old actor will not appear in the DreamWorks movie, already six weeks into production in Hawaii. Sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to comment, told The Associated Press that Wilson was to have a cameo role in the film. “Tropic Thunder” stars Jack Black, Robert Downey, Jr., and Ben Stiller, who is also directing.
Wilson was taken by ambulance to a hospital Sunday after police responded to a call about a suicide attempt at his Santa Monica home.
Wilson’s next big-screen appearance is in “The Darjeeling Limited,” slated for release next month, in which he stars with Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman. In an eerie coincidence, Wilson plays a distraught man - bandaged throughout the film - whom other characters imply has attempted suicide.
In related news Kate Hudson was said to be distraught when she heard about her ex’s attempted suicide.
A source said, “When she heard the news she broke down in tears and left the set.”
Kate was not the only one shocked about the news, close friend and co star of what was to be Owen’s next movie Ben Stiller could not believe what had happened.

Actress Kate Hudson has gone public with her new romance as her ex-boyfriend recovers from a mysterious weekend mishap in hospital.
The star was photographed openly kissing funnyman Dax Shepard in a Malibu, California grocery store on Sunday - the same day her ex, Owen Wilson, was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital emergency room.
US tabloid reports suggest Wilson tried to kill himself, and was discovered by a family member.
With that information, Hudson couldn’t have picked a worse day to go public with her new romance - a month after the actress initially denied she was dating Shepard.
Hudson is still in the process of divorcing rocker husband Chris Robinson. She split from Owen Wilson in May after a brief romance.
