Amy Winehouse was awarded 5 trophies at the prestigous 50th Grammy awards in Los Angeles. The soul singer won the record of the year for her hit ‘Rehab.’ The single was released in the year where most troubled stars entered rehab to receive help for alcohol and drug abuse. Winehouse herself is currently in a drug rehabilitation centre as she continues to fight her ongoing problem with drugs.

Winehouse beat Beyonce, Foo Fighters, Rihanna and Justin Timberlake to take home the award, which she dedicated to “my Blake, my incarcerated Blake, and for London, this is for London.”

In a major shocker, Winehouse lost the final award of the night, album of the year, to Herbie Hancock’s “River: The Joni Letters.”
