Brad and Angelina split

angelina_jolie_og_b_249620x.jpg

Brad and Angelina’s relationship is in turmoil after Brad signed to appear in a movie along his ex Gwyneth Paltrow. Angelina was said to be totally against him co starring with Gwyneth as she feared that Gwyneth might fall for Brad again. However, Brad disregarded this even after she threaten to leave him if he agreed to star in the movie.

Well Angelina should be worried as payback is a bitch. She stole Brad from Jennifer and now Gwyneth might steal brad from her. I doubt it though as Gwyneth is much in love with her husband, Chris Martin.

Gwyneth was devastated after the split with Brad and told a magazine at the time, “It really changed my life. When we split up, something changed, permanently, in me. My heart sort of broke that day, and it will never be the same.”

Angelina Jolie to speak to her dad again

jon_voight_jolie.jpg

After dramatic weight loss due to the death of her mother in January, Angelina Jolie has hinted a reconciliation with estranged father Jon Voight.

Jolie has not spoken to her Oscar-winning father since 2002 when he accused her of being unstable and an unfit mother.

Angelina told London’s Evening Standard newspaper: “I am hoping my relationship with my father will be more private in the future. We both wish the best for each other and we’ll try to start communicating in some way.”

Angelina’s $26 Vintage dress

At the NYC premiere of ‘A Mighty Heart,’ Angelina chose to wear a $26 vintage dress oppose to a designer dress that would have cost her 100 times more. Not to say that she can’t afford it but it is good to see such a big star like Jolie-Pitt to spend as much as I would spend on a T.

Angelina Jolie in Marie Claire

angie_marieclaire3.jpg

Angelina Jolie has been busy walking her kids to school in Prague while Brad has been on set in Montreal filming his new Movie. She has been able to take a break from her busy schedule to feature in this months Marie Claire.

This is what she had to say:

On Pax:
“[Pax] Is probably the wildest person in the house right now.”

“I’m still having trouble convincing Pax that underwear and pants go together - underwear is not pants!

On Zahara:

“Z - you do her hair; she takes it out. It’s like everybody starts to undress once you’ve gotten them dressed!”

“Zahara is the smart ass personality. The other day Z said to me, ‘I need a cookie.’ I said, ‘You need a cookie? You don’t need a cookie.’ She said, ‘Daddy gonna cry.’ Why is Daddy gonna cry? ‘Daddy wants me to have a cookie. She’s just that smart.”

On Shiloh:
“Shiloh is starting to walk, so she’s falling and eating everything in the place.”

On Maddox:
I’m so happy for my children - especially Mad. I didn’t know if he was ever going to have a dad. So when I watch them having real strong father-son time, or even when Mad tells me, “This is a boy thing, Mom’ - it’s just beautiful to see.”

Brad’s golden love letter

jolie_pitt_loveletter.jpg

“I love you, Brad” ends an 18-carat golden love-letter from Brad Pitt to Angelina Jolie, offered shortly before the couple flew in for the Cannes film festival last month.

Made by a master Paris engraver, the love-letter pendant, a miniature gold card slipped discreetly into a golden envelope, begins: “I find you in the morning sky, in the sound of children’s laughter, in the motion of every stirring wind.”

“I love you, Brad,” the message ends.

The around 1,500-euro piece of jewelry from Pitt to Jolie also includes a portrait of tiny Pax Thien, the last of three children adopted by the couple who also have a birth daughter, Shiloh, said a spokesman for the French luxury engraver and printer Cassegrain.

This answers all doubts of the couples rocky relationship.

Jolie will take a year off to spend more time with her family.

Angelina Jolie in Parade Magazine

angelina_jolie-maddox.jpg

In the new edition of Parade Magazine, due out this weekend, Angelina Jolie talks about her life with Brad Pitt and their four children, Maddox, 6, Pax 3, Zahara 2, and Shiloh 1, as well as their future plans as a family, and her humanitarian efforts.

She tells Parade Magazine She And Brad Will Quit Working And “Just Live”

Angelina on being a working mom with four small children:

“Brad and I are very lucky that we’re in a situation where we can choose to take turns, and one of us can be home with the kids, and so we kind of have that plan of who is doing what. So I have been home, and now I am going to go to work for a little bit, then he is going to work, then I m going to work, then basically we’re going to try to take a year off and just be with the kids. So certainly, we’re trying to find a few projects that we love or that we think would be good to do for one reason or another. But mainly our focus is, ‘OK, let’s look at our schedule, and try to figure out when we’re going to have our family time.’”

She and Brad’s plans for their future, work and family:

“Brad and I have a lot of kids, and we want to have more kids. It’s fun, and we love it. But you can’t balance everything.I think both of us only plan to work for a few more years. We’ll try to stop sooner or later, so we can be home and travel, and just live.”

Are they abandoning the Hollywood lifestyle?

“Certainly we’re not running from all that. That’s not our motivation. We’re public people. We know that, and the world is what it is today, with press and media. But, yeah, I think it will be nice to, you know, just not be so – so out there.”

Angie’s mother died this past January after a long bout with ovarian cancer, she now opens up about how her mother influenced her own humanitarian efforts:

“I am my mother’s daughter. I mean, I hope but don’t think I’ll ever be as good as her.She was just such a pure, kind, unbelievably gracious mother. From a very young age, I saw my mother doing aid work. I saw how it made her life very happy and fulfilled. But really the biggest lesson she taught me was: It’s the little things. This was somebody who the world didn’t know about at all, but her simple acts of kindness left a huge impression.”

Angelina admits that her life hasn’t always been a model one and shares some insight on what intrinsically changed her outlook:

“I think that when I was in my early 20s, I knew, innately, that I wasn’t living an important life. I think that I didn’t so much lose my way, but I hadn’t found my way. I wasn’t giving very much. My life was not really benefiting anyone. That just doesn’t feel good.”

What does she think about her star-status and the impact this has had on her pet causes?

“There’s a part of me that understands that I can get people to pay attention to certain things. When that happens, there’s nothing that feels better. But my intention was never, ‘I need to go out there and teach other people something. Whether people’s thoughts about my family are positive or negative, at the end of the day, I get to come home to these four little people who are the greatest things in the world.”

Angie also gives some practical advice on how the average person can help those in need around the world:

“My advice for [those who want to help in the world]: People have the Internet, they have access to magazines, newspapers from other countries, they have access to human rights Web sites, U.N. Web sites, all kinds of discussions on many different things—justice, aid abroad, volunteer vacations. There are many things to explore.

“I think the first step is to try to navigate your way through some of that and see where your heart goes. That’s a big part of it. I do think it has to be personal. It has to be strong for it to last and grow, and then it will be a pleasure to work hard to do it.”

“I know people who now work in Washington, very high-powered jobs, who simply started as young people who decided they would just GET to different countries, and say, ‘I’ve got a pair of hands, and I’ll help—does anybody need me?’ There is a lot to be said for that. If you investigate, there are a lot of volunteer organizations, a lot of NGOs [non-governmental organizations], a lot of religious groups. But first I do think that there is something to knowing who you are and where your heart goes and what you feel you can contribute.”

Kid Rock keeps Jolie-Pitt up all night

shiloh-jolie-pitt1.jpg

Brad Pitt is back on the set of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in Montreal and Angelina has had to take over walking the kids to school duty. The two are probably glad that they’ve left the craziness that is Cannes and are back to their every day lives. While they definitely had a good time at the festival, one night wasn’t so fun. Kid Rock was DJing at the Hotel Du Cap where the Jolie-Pitts were staying and his party kept them up until 5 AM. Apparently Brad and Angie both called down to complain since their kids were crying from all the noise. A source says, “Staff then begged Kid Rock to at least turn it down but he refused - and made it clear that he’d keep DJing as long as he felt like doing so.” Then a hotel staff member stopped by the Jolie-Pitt’s room with earplugs but no word on if that actually solved the problem.
