Heidi Klum wants to help Britney Spears. The 34-year-old model says she’d be willing to open her home to Spears while the troubled pop singer puts her life back together.
“She can call me and come live in our house with us for a couple of months,” said Klum, a mother of three who is married to the singer Seal and lives in Beverly Hills, Calif. “I would help set her straight.”
“I am sorry when a young person gets thrown so off track,” Klum said, according to a transcript of an interview that will be aired Monday night by the German broadcaster ARD. “She has, of course, lived an extremely wild life.”
After more than a year of bizarre behavior and two stints in a psychiatric hospital this year, Spears was placed under a conservatorship by the Los Angeles County Superior Court commissioner at the beginning of February. Conservatorships are established when a court determines that someone cannot take care of themselves or their affairs.
To hear Klum, the host of Bravo’s “Project Runway,” describe it, her own life seems like a fairy tale.
“I have never been as happy as I am today,” Klum said. “I have found the man of my life and we have three great kids. They are all so different and fantastic that it really can’t get better than this.”
Britney Spears’ dad wins extension of estate control
A Los Angeles judge has extended temporary control of Britney Spears‘ legal and financial affairs to her father until March 10.
LA Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, who recently appointed Jamie Spears conservator of his daughter’s estate, agreed the caterer could continue taking charge of the singer’s dealings in a hearing on Thursday.
Spears’ dad has shared responsibility for the troubled pop star’s affairs with court-appointed observer Andrew Wallet since February 1.
Britney Spears secretly weds in Mexico
In news that will dismay her family, Britney Spears has secretly married her British paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib in Mexico, according to American reports.
The troubled star wed photographer Ghalib during a trip to Mexico on 9 January, Star magazine claims, but the marriage is illegal because Ghalib is already married.
A source told the publication: “While in Mexico, they went through a quickie marriage ceremony.”
“When Britney recently accused her mother of ’sleeping with my husband’, it wasn’t Kevin she was talking about - it was Adnan!” the source said. Kevin Federline is Spears’ ex-husband, embroiled with the singer in a messy custody battle over the former couple’s two sons.
If true, the wedding was just days after Britney was first rushed to hospital, following an alarming stand-off with police at her home.
When she realised that the wedding wasn’t legal because of his prior attachment , Spears first dumped Adnan because she was so furious - but later gave him $A273,000 to speed up his divorce so they could wed for real, according to Star.
“He is promising her that they’d get married again once his divorce is final,” the source said.
The alleged wedding took place when Spears, 26, and Ghalib, 35, managed to sneak away from the media pack that follows their every move and drove to Rosarito Beach Hotel in Mexico.

It seems that Britney Spears is bonding with her mother Lynne Spears through shopping.
The 26-year-old pop star and her mother shopped for half-an hour at the Miss Sixty store in Los Angeles, from where Britney Spears purchased J Rocker Jeans, a white Carmen T-shirt, a Tirsa blue dress and a Maybelle stretch tee for 650 pounds.
According to an eyewitness, Spears, who once had been estranged from her mother, even took shopping suggestion from her.
“Her mom helped her get the right size jeans that she ended up buying,” People quoted the eyewitness, as saying.
“Britney also held up the blue dress in front of her and showed her mom before she decided to by it,” the eyewitness added.
Britney and Lynn were than spotted travelling to the Millennium Dance Complex, where the pop star conducted a dance class for youngsters the day before.

To the dissapproval of her parents, Britney Spears was released from hospital yesteday. Growing concerns about her health and mental state have lead to many people believing that she does not have long left.
She is now under the supervison of her dad Jamie Spears and lawyer Andrew Wallet. This will be in place until 14th of February as previously agreed, meaning that while Britney has been freed from the hospital, her father and Wallet still have control over her estate.
In related news, Britney’s friend/advisor Sam Lufti has reportedly admitted giving the singer drugs before she was hospitalised last week.
He told Us Weekly he gave Britney “a handful of pills”, which help calm her down, before her parents arrived for the intervention: “I said these pills are working wonders, they are miracle pills.”
Speaking about Britney’s mental condition, he added: “In the depressive episodes, it’s all crying. But in the manic episode, there’s very little crying or sympathy or compassion. She becomes another person. She becomes somebody that just doesn’t care about anybody or anything.”
“The British accent is part of the mania. She’ll stick to the British accent because she becomes comfortable with it… But you know, when the pink wig comes on, it’s getting bad.”
Well it doesn’t seem like much has changed except the hair colour as Britney is still out and about in her super short skirts.
Her parents fear Britney may die soon.
Britney Spears‘ parents have said that they fear their daughter may die soon, and that they believe she should not have been released from a medical centre yet.
The star left the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles recently, one week earlier than had initially been expected.
In a statement, Jamie and Lynne Spears said they were “extremely disappointed” that their daughter had been released.
They added: “We are deeply concerned about our daughter’s safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. We ask only that the court’s orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted.”
Spears is currently under the temporary conservatorship of her father until February 14 – a measure put in when an individual in the USA is deemed no longer able to take care of themselves.

It’s back to home sweet home for Britney Spears…
As she’s left her hospital psychiatric ward.
Just six days after being admitted to the UCLA Medical Center she has gone home.
The Los Angeles Times reported she left accompanied by security guards and headed for her Beverly Hills home.
According to TMZ, it was determined by doctors at UCLA that Britney did not pose legal danger to herself and others, and as such they could not hold her against her will.
She was later spotted leaving her home in her black Mercedes-Benz, with a pack of paparazzi following her. It appears she was accompanied by a bodyguard, who she later swapped for a pap mate.
TMZ reports she visited the Beverly Hills hotel and that her paparazzo boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, was spotted driving into the hotel in a convertible silver Mercedes-Benz.
Her parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears, who’re said to “believe her life is presently at risk”, released the following statement to CNN’s Anderson Cooper:
“As parents of an adult child in the throes of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe.
“We are deeply concerned about her safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. We ask only that the court’s orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted.”
Meanwhile, latest reports say that Jamie may head back to court to ask for the conservatorship order to be tightened, which they say gives the conservator power to restrict the visitors Britney receives.
They also say the conservatorship may give her dad the right to approve any contracts.
Britney’s Life In The Psych Ward
The first look at what life is like for Britney Spears in the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center was revealed through court papers released late yesterday.
In an extensive filing from Monday’s conservatorship court hearing over Spears, a declaration from Britney’s father, Jamie, describes his contact with the pop singer on February 3.
According to his declaration, Jamie, who is a cook, said he was unable to visit Britney in the hospital during the daytime on Sunday February 3 because he was “catering a large Super Bowl party.”
“While I was working, Britney called me on my cell phone at least four times. She called me about every twenty minutes,” his declaration continues.
In his declaration, Jamie claims Britney kept calling him and asking him why she was not at the hospital with her, despite his continued response of “Baby, Daddy’s got to work.”
The declaration further states that when Jamie finally got to the hospital, Britney turned away from her dad.
In his declaration, Jamie includes “I said to her, ‘I love you.’ Britney said, ‘No you don’t.”
As his declaration continues Jamie claims that Britney believes she is in the hospital because of her dad.
Even when confronted by the orders and a nurse telling her that it is the hospital who is keeping her within its walls.
Britney also appeared confused over her legal situation, according to Jamie’s declaration.
He said, “Britney told me that she had fired her lawyers and that she has new lawyers. I told her that she doesn’t have new lawyers with the kids. She told me, ‘No, I have new lawyers that will help me with my stuff.”
In Jamie’s declaration he also claims that Britney believes Sam Lutfi took property that belongs to her.
“Britney then told me that there was some property of hers that Sam Lutfi had wrongfully taken,” Jamie’s declaration reads. “She asked me to help her get it back. I told her that I would.”
