Gwen Stefani pregnant with second baby
Pop diva Gwen Stefani and her rock-star husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting their second child, family members confirmed to US media on Tuesday.
The 38-year-old former No Doubt singer’s father-in-law Douglas Rossdale confirmed the pregnancy in comments to celebrity news outlet People, reported on the magazine’s website.
“They and the whole family are delighted,” Rossdale told People.
Representatives for Stefani were not immediately available for comment. Reports in British newspaper The Sun said Stefani was 13 weeks pregnant.
Stefani and former Bush frontman Rossdale married in London six years ago and already have one son, Kingston Rossdale, born in Los Angeles in May 2006.
California-born Stefani rose to prominence in 1995 with No Doubt’s “Tragic Kingdom,” one of the best-selling albums of the decade that included the hits “Just a Girl,” “Spiderwebs” and “Don’t Speak.”
Stefani’s first solo album, “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.,” was released in 2004, containing hits like “Rich Girl,” “Cool” and “Hollaback Girl.”
Gwen Stefani moving to london
Gwen Stefani’s recent stay in London wasn’t just a holiday over the festive season - the No Doubt star is reportedly moving over to the UK for the foreseeable future while husband Gavin Rossdale launches his solo career.
Gwen and son Kingston have frequently been spotted around the parks of the capital while visiting British-born Gavin’s family but now they’re said to relocating to the city for at least six months.
While Gavin’s band Bush had incredibly limited success in the UK, he hopes his solo efforts will be more popular and wants to concentrate promotion of his first solo album, Wanderlust, on this side of the Atlantic - and after Gavin was left holding the baby while Gwen completed her own solo tour last year, she doesn’t mind a reversal of their roles.
A source told the Mirror: “Gwen loves London so she doesn’t mind staying here while Gav promotes the album.”
“After months looking after their 19-month-old son Kingston, it’s Gav’s turn to go out and bring home the bacon.”
The couple might have other plans for their stay too: Gwen has expressed interest in further expanding their family as soon as possible but recently denied rumours that she was already pregnant.

Akon Apologizes
Rapper Akon has been under fire lately for bad concert behavior, but you can’t say he doesn’t at least feel bad about it. The “Smacked” singer has reportedly recorded a song to apologize for things he has done, as well as things he hasn’t even done yet. The song was leaked Wednesday on Ryan Seacreast’s KIIS-FM morning show and the TMZ website.
“Everything I do is affecting the people around me,” Akon said. In the new song, he apologizes to his mother for being a thief, his wife for the “wrong things” he’s done, and his sons for not always being there.
He also apologizes for the embarrassment he caused Gwen Stefani for losing one of their tour sponsors. After dancing sexually with a 14-year-old fan at a concert in Trinidad, Verizon dropped their sponsorship from the rapper’s tour with Gwen Stefani. Akon does not, however, take blame for doing the deed in the first place. He instead criticizes the club owners for allowing an underage girl into the 21+ venue.
Akon ends the song by reaching out to his fans: “I’m just a singer trying to entertain/ Because I love my fans I’ll take the blame”.
Gwen Stefani in May Harper’s Bazaa
This is what Gwen Stefani had to say.
On her fashion style:
“I’ve gotten a little more feminine over the last few years. Right into my late 20s, I never wore heels; I was always in my Doc Martens and baggy pants. But as the years go by, you get more comfortable with looking more like a woman.”
On looking good on the go:
“There’s always paparazzi outside my house. If you had paparazzi outside your house, you’d make sure you looked good, too.”
